These printable coloring pages are full of fun, whimsical details! Depending on your coloring style and personal preference, you could literally spend hours coloring in a single page. For example, it took me around 8-9 hours to color in the artwork above, spread over several days! I used a variety of media to color in this page: Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Sakura Gelly Roll Pens and Posca paint pens. About these printable coloring pages

This printable set of Whimsical Worlds Coloring Pages is delivered to you as an e-book in PDF format.

The fun thing about printable coloring pages is that you can print them as many times as you like (for your own individual, non-commercial, household use only). You can print them on any type of paper that can safely run through your printer, from specially-coated canvas or watercolor paper or even fabric! My favorite paper to print on is Neenah Exact Index 110lb Cardstock, which I love because it is thicker than regular printer paper and also thicker than most paper you'll find in published coloring books. Depending on the type of paper you use, you can color these pages with a wide variety of media beyond the regular markers, gel pens and colored pencils - for instance, why not experiment with acrylics, watercolor pencils, glitter pens, gouache and more!

Another great thing about printables is that you don't have to worry about coloring the page "just right" on your first (or second or third!) try. You can feel free to experiment with different color schemes, different media, and different techniques. It's an opportunity to explore your creativity and have fun, knowing that you can print the page again if you get a new idea or want to take your coloring in a different direction!

Here’s an example of how I colored in this whimsical mushroom house coloring page! I printed this page onto Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper (which I trimmed to 8.5 x 11 before running through my inkjet printer) and colored it in using Posca paint markers.

At first I left the background white, but I worried it looked a bit too empty, so I gave it a black starry background. Which one do you prefer? I like them both, in their own ways! 😊
